Sinds 2006 zijn search en ik goeie vrienden, voornamelijk Adwords kom ik op dagelijkse basis tegen. Net als met echte vrienden heeft ook search zijn eigen handleiding die ik zo goed mogelijk probeer te doorgronden.

De laatste jaren richt ik me op het laten bloeien van diezelfde vriendschap tussen search en andere bedrijven en individuen. Ik geef workshops en train mensen om te gaan met hun online marketing uitdagingen, ik beheer daarbij ook nog steeds mijn eigen campagnes en die van andere bedrijven.

Recentelijk zijn mijn vrouw en ik naar Londen verhuisd en werk vanuit daar aan het verder uitbouwen van mijn activiteiten op online marketing gebied en mijn coaching ambities. Hoe gek ik ook ben op search ik ben nog gekker op het contact met de mensen die ermee betrokken zijn en hun persoonlijke en zakelijke uitdagingen.
  Barry Adams

Despite his anglophonic name, Barry Adams is actually a Dutchman. With over a decade of experience in SEO and digital marketing, Barry is the digital director at multi-award winning creative agency Pierce Communications in Belfast where leads an expert team delivering web development and digital marketing solutions to a wide range of clients in the UK and Ireland.

Barry is a regular Spreker at digital conferences in the UK and Ireland such as SAScon, Think Visibility, the Dot Conf, and the Ulster Business Festival, and lectures on SEO and digital marketing for the University of Ulster and the Digital Marketing Institute. He is an editor and contributor for State of Digital, the award-winning European blog on digital marketing, and regularly rants about SEO on his own website barryadams.co.uk which was shortlisted for Best Blog at the 2013 UK Search Awards.
  Roy Huiskes

Roy Huiskes is sinds 2003 werkzaam als internetmarketeer. Zijn specialisaties omvatten alle aspecten van het vak met de focus op online marketingstrategie, conversie optimalisatie met focus op SEO strategie,.waarbij de gebruiker centraal staat. Roy werkt onder meer voor AEGON, MEC, Allerhande, Univé, Coolblue en De Bijenkorf.
  Bastian Grimm

Bastian Grimm is founder and managing partner of Grimm Digital. Having a background in software development, nowadays he works as online marketing consultant with a strong focus on SEO. With his company, he specializes in international SEO strategy- & management consulting as well as online marketing trainings and workshops. Grimm also co-runs Ads2people, a full-service performance marketing agency based in Berlin, Germany where he heads the SEO department as the VP of Search.

Prior to running his own companies, Bastian set up and trained in-house SEO teams for brands like Fox Mobile Group (Jamba, Bitbop & iLove) and oversaw their SEO activities in 25+ countries and for 100+ websites.

Als Head of Digital draagt Elja binnen MEC de verantwoordelijkheid voor het inzetten van digitale kanalen.

Concreet betekent dit dat Elja een team van een 35 personen aanstuurt. Dit team is weer opgedeeld in 4 speciastische teams: Search, Social, Performance & Digital advertising. Dit doet MEC oa. voor Bol.com, Albert Heijn, IKEA, TomTom, Grolsch & Tommy Hilfiger.

Elja is overtuigd internetverslaafd en gek op innovatie. In 1998 pionierde hij bij Lost Boys door dagelijks online videojournaals te maken die niemand kon zien, omdat breedband internet nog in de kinderschoenen stond. Vandaag de dag gaat zijn passie uit naar social media en hoe merken consumenten kunnen boeien en verbinden.

Elja is geboren in 1976 en afgestudeerd Film & TV wetenschapper aan de Universiteit Utrecht, waarna hij 2 jaar les heeft gegeven in Nieuwe Media & Digitale Cultuur aan de Universiteit Utrecht. Daarna vervolgde hij zijn weg binnen de mediabureau-branche omdat de integratie van digitale en niet-digitale kanalen in zijn ogen de heilige graal is om merken te laten groeien.
  Marcus Tandler

Marcus Tandler is a Partner at the German-based Online-Marketing company Tandler.Doerje.Partner, which has a strong focus on SEO services for large companies and websites looking to improve their
rankings within the Google guidelines. Together with his Partner and former Google EMEA Manager Niels Doerje he´s consulting various large companies across Europe about all aspects of Online Marketing.

Marcus started working in the SEO industry well over 15 years ago, and was co-host of the popular “Webmasters on the Roof” show on WebmasterRadio.FM. He´s also a popular Spreker at various conferences
around the world such as TEDx, LeWeb, The Next Web and O’Reilly’s web2.0expo. He got a lectureship at the University of AppliedManagement in Erding teaching students how to excel in Online Marketing.

His current Tech-StartUp OnPage.org, which aims at helping webmasters to improve their website quality and rankings with Google, just recently won a prestigious german StartUp of the Year award.

Marcus was the first German to ever win the Award for Outstanding Personal Contribution to Affiliate Marketing at CJU Europe 2007. He
holds a master’s of arts and a diploma in marketing. He resides in Munich, Germany.
  Harmen Visscher

Sinds 2007 werkzaam bij fonq.nl en als Online Acquisition Marketeer verantwoordelijk voor de in-house kennisopbouw, uitvoer –en het mede bepalen- van de strategie binnen search, affiliate marketing en de prijsvergelijkers.

Wouter is altijd op zoek naar nieuwe kansen en uitdagingen binnen het online marketing landschap, actief op twitter onder @wouterderijk, fervent liefhebber van verre reizen, speciaalbier en mountainbiken.

Born in the UK and raised in NL Kate went on to finish her degree in Communications in Amsterdam.

After that she worked in the Oil & Gas business for a year before starting at Google. Kate developed a deep interest in Google's performance related advertising products during her 4 years as Account Strategist for NLs largest advertisers and agencies. In 2012 she moved to the Customer Solutions & Innovation team covering the launch and roll out of all Search & Mobile products for the Benelux.

Since end of 2013 Kate is now the Head of Performance for the Benelux and responsible for the strategy, launch and roll out of all Performance related advertising products for the BE & NL markets. 
  Dixon Jones

Dixon Jones became the Marketing Director of the world’s largest link analysis engine, Majestic SEO, in 2009, transforming the SE industry by providing link intelligence on a scale not previously open to the industry. Bringing the technology to the search marketing industry has resulted in two best SEO Technology awards and a user base of thousands from WordTracker to Microsoft. Kaspar Szymanski has been working on Google’s manual web spam team from 2006 to 2013. During that time he gained visibility in the SEO industry through his Google blog contributions and conference talks.

In 2012 and 2013 his teams work made national news, as announcements such as this http://goo.gl/KQQ8pe drew the attention of major industry verticals. Today Kaspar works as an independent SEO consultant operating from Berlin, together with Fili Wiese, who’s another former Google Search Quality Expert.

Fili Wiese offers SEO Consultancy services from Berlin, together with Kaspar Szymanski, and specializes in technical and international SEO, backlink analysis and web development.

Before working as a SEO consultant, Fili tackled for seven years Web Spam on the Google Search Quality Team and Click Spam on the Google Ad Traffic Quality Team.

In both teams he was a driving force in the external communication efforts, tools development, training and policy enforcement by compulsively pressing the famous red button.
  Joost de Valk

Joost is a 30 year old web developer, SEO and online marketer. He started his career in several companies, ranging from enterprise hosting to online marketing agencies, allowing him to work with several large businesses around the world. In May of 2010 Joost also founded Yoast, which focuses on consulting in SEO, WordPress optimization and online marketing / content strategy. Current clients include the Guardian, eBay, Disney Interactive and the European Patent Office.

Yves has been working as Performance Marketing Manager for Swiss-based Interhome AG since June 2012, which is one of the largest European holiday rental companies. Together with his team he leads Interhome’s performance marketing activities across 15 markets with main emphasis on SEA, SEO , RTB and CRO. Before joining Interhome, Yves worked for 6 years as Senior Account Manager for Google and helped clients like Housetrip, Easytobook, SAP and Intel to scale their SEA efforts internationally.
